Description: SetuBlueTM is one of the most sensitive assay in the market. It uses a Blue indicator dye to measure the metabolic capacity of cells. Viable cells efficiently reduce Blue indicator dye, which is highly fluorescent and an indicator of cell viability. Nonviable or dead cells rapidly lose metabolic capacity and unable to reduce the indicator dye, and thus do not generate a fluorescent signal. BioIntersect‘s SetuBlueTM Cell Proliferation Assay Kit provides a very sensitive and homogeneous fluorometric method (Ex/Em =530/590 nm) for estimating the number of viable cells in a 96-well plate.
