Isolation of mitochondria is typically a laborious process requiring extensive sample processing. BioIntersect’s Mitochondria Isolation Kit for Tissues and Cultured Cells provides a versatile, microcentrifuge-tube based method for fractionating intact mitochondria from cultured mammalian cells and tissues. Our Kit uses a non-mechanical, reagent-based method that allows multiple samples processing in 30 minutes or less. Our kit offers two options for the isolation of intact mitochondria. The first option is utilizing a reagent-based method allowing parallel processing of multiple samples. The second option uses dounce homogenization, which provides better mitochondrial yield.
